More Parties

on June 4, 2011

We love celebrating with our friends and family. This weekend brought great parties for a few graduates we know. It was even better that I didn’t have to make meals today with three graduation parties. =)
The first party had some entertainment for the kids (and Andy). It was for the son of Andy’s boss who decided that the menu would have two tables of things that taste good with barbecue sauce and things that taste good with whipped cream. It was yummy. Abigail was held by Andy’s boss, Sam, and fell asleep in his arms. Everyone kept telling me how gorgeous she is. Gotta love that! Sam’s dad is in the picture too.

Sam is such a good sport that he played some foosball with Vincent.

We went home for a while and then Andy’s littlest cousins who are Elizabeth and Olivia’s ages came to play while their big sister graduated. She is ten years older than they are and she is number 6 of the 8 kids they have. They are moving to Utah next week and we’ll miss them a lot.

We took Chris and Brent with us (in two cars) to a party for a girl who used to babysit for us.

Elizabeth liked their rope swing and the trampoline.

Abby was held by the host of the party again. This picture is through the smoke of the fire pit and with the sun behind. You get the idea.

And this is Andy’s cousin, Elisha’s party. All but one sister were at the party which was at a nice friend’s beautiful house because they moved out of their house last week and are staying in a hotel right now. They had so much delicious fruit. I loved it.

They also had a firepit and the stuff to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Abby fell asleep in Grandma Shirley’s arms at this party. The kids mostly just ran around with all the other kids and complained when the other kids went swimming and we went home.

Well, Andy and the older kids went home. Abby and I went to Kohl’s to pick out a new shirt with money Kohl’s sent me for my birthday because I have a card with them, I guess. I love Kohl’s. The older kids got all clean and Andy was finishing reading to them when I got home.

It was a great day of fun!
