Vincent and Elizabeth Family Party

on February 12, 2012
With these three birthdays in a row, I decided to have Vincent and Elizabeth share a party for our family (and a few close friends).
Elizabeth decorated this cake like a Yoshi egg.

Elizabeth put up some streamers and balloons while she waited for the frosting to be ready.

Looks pretty good, doesn’t it?  I didn’t even help her (except I tied some balloons until Olivia learned how to tie them.)

And it lasted for a few minutes before falling down.  The picture makes it look like Vincent messed it up, but I don’t know if that’s what happened.  I wasn’t in there when it happened.

Elizabeth got her pillowcase from my parents.  Vincent got one too, but I don’t have a picture of that.  The gift opening was TOO fast!

Vincent and Elizabeth with their cakes.  Vincent’s is yellow cake and Elizabeth’s is chocolate.

Vincent’s Cars cake.  Kind of silly, but it was late Thursday night when I made it.

Vincent blowing out his candles (the first time…)

Elizabeth was enveloped in a fog of smoke when she blew hers out.

Olivia isn’t one to miss the action. She had a nice piggyback ride from Grandpa Paul through the house.  Good things she’s skinny!

This week has been such a busy week preparing for this and doing so many other things too (I’m not listing this time, promise!)  I keep thinking that I’ll get time to read and hang out, but I don’t because there are so many things I need to do, want to do, feel I have to do.  This week.  This week. =)

I love Cookies! Thanks for combining the party so we could save a trip to 3-Cities! The party was fun.
